scrapbook

Hello lovely people! I'm back again! lol Same old same old from me. Struggling health wise and just craft for short amounts when I am able.
I have finally, (almost) finished my friends birthday scrapbook. I'll be adding a little letter onto the front and few finishing touches, but it's almost there, so I can finally send it, nearly a month late! Luckily she is understanding.

Hope you like it! Sorry about the photos not being that great, but I just don't have the energy to spend ages on the photos.

I found this gorgeous Cath Kidston on eBay as she adores all her stuff.

Under the tractor flap:

That last page has an envelope bit in so she can slide in some more photos.

In between doing this, when I'm too tired to move off the settee i've been colouring some images in ready to make some cards when i'm well enough:

The wedding couple, the mermaid and the birthday Tilda are what I bought with birthday money. I adore Magnolias.
Thank you again to Sally@ scallywags for sending me such a lovely card and some gorgeous little gifts. I was really touched xxx

I'm off to watch the England match now. Very happy to see my spurs boy Scotty Parker captain! Let's hope Psycho does a better job than Capello did!

Sending you all love and good wishes. Thank you as always for comments left xxxxx

A scrapbook challenge

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having good days. Thank you as always for lovely comments from you. It really makes me smile.

I had my gorgeous niece, Emily to stay with me for a few days for half term and after reading some old scrapbook mags, I decided to set us a challenge. I gave us each a £10 limit and we were to buy enough for the other to make a scrapbook page with. We chose the photos before we went off to the gorgeous "Glitterpot", which I am so lucky to live near, and we went shopping. It was funny trying to avoid each other and keep our buys secret. ( I had some early Birthday money to spend so 3 new magnolia stamps fell into my basket too! lol)

We got home and showed each other our kits and we were not surprised to see we had chosen the same sticker sheet and the same flowers! lol
These are our kits:

Emily bought this lot for me:

She loves those felt brads so spent a big bit of her budget on these.

I bought her this kit:

I was very pleased to find those little stamps at such cheap prices and they fitted in so well with the theme.

We loved our bits so these are our pages!!

Here is Emily's page. She did everything but stick it all down, as she struggles a bit with that, but the design and layout was all hers. Isn't she talented!

This is my page:

I hope you like them! We can't wait to make more with the gorgeous new Bo Bunny papers out at the minute. We are going to make snowy pages with them as they are so wintry.

I'm nearly finished my friends scrapbook, so will show you pics of those soon.
I'm off to watch Emmerdale now.

Wishing you all a good evening. Lots of love xx

*shock horror* i've made a card!!

Hello everyone! Thank you for such lovely comments on my last post. This ME and Fibromyalgia lark is not at all easy in the winter! I haven't had any improvement at all for months now and just hope that the spring/summer will give me a little relief, so I can at least get out a little more as I feel like a hibernating hedghog!

Well, my best friends birthday was recently and I wanted to make her a special card. I'm a bit slower crafting at the minute as I can't sit there for long periods, so this took me about 4 hours in the end, on and off. I hope you like it! I am now desperate for more flowers as this is the first time i've used them on a card after winning them in some blog candy. I'm becoming more shabby as the time goes by too and am inking everything that sits still! lol

I'm also in the process of making her a small scrapbook. I found a lovely Cath Kidson one on ebay (She's obsessed with CK), so i'm hoping she'll love it when I finally send it.

I'm sorry i've not been well enough to be on here much, especially to leave comments on your blogs, but when I've been able to i've been popping by to see your gorgeous work!

I'm soon to be 34 (on the 19th, which just seems bizarre as I still feel in my 20's) and we are having a little party at my sisters, so that I can rest and lay on the settee when need be and watch everyone make fools of themselves on the Wii! We are making jelly and ice cream, cheese and pineapple etc.. so it should be fun! I just hope i'm having an ok day so I can enjoy it.

Hope you are all keeping warm! I'm off for a nosey round some blog. Thank you again for such supportive comments. Crafters really are a lovely bunch of people!! xxxxxxxx
